Praying to Prevail: Delighting In God’s Victory

What would you do for God if you knew you could not fail? Would you go back to school? Take that new job? Join that ministry? Volunteer time to the Holy City of Zion move? During this month, we will be praying with delight over God’s victory: it has already been won on our behalf. We already have salvation, the hope of Glory and the Holy Spirit. Why, then, do we pray as if we are not sure of God’s ultimate victory in our
lives?
The Scripture tells us that God listens to us. (Jeremiah 29:12), so why don’t we start talking to Him?

During the month of August, use your time with God to pray as a victorious Christian. Bathe yourself in the assurance that our God has already won the victory over everything that concerns you.
The Lord lives! Praise be to my Rock!
Exalted be God, the Rock, my Savior!
