In 2010, we will pray as we have never prayed before. The past two years have
stretched us as we have prepared to enter the Holy City of Zion. Now, the time is upon
us to complete the work that God set before us. Now, the time has come to believe as
we have never believed before, to trouble heaven as we have never troubled heaven
before, and to expect God to answer our every prayer. During each month this year,
commit yourself to learning a new aspect of God’s character, to spending more time in
His presence, to attending Prayer Service, to praying as a family, and to believing that
all He has promised will come to pass! 2010 is the year of powerful, purposeful prayer!
In order to harness power in our prayer lives, we must seek God above all else. The
Apostle Paul tells us that God’s power is made perfect in our weakness. ( 2 Cor. 12:8) So, pray
for more humility, more openness, and more trust in God. As you desire to become more open
and available to hear from God, God’s power will flow through you. Your desire to pray for
God’s will and God’s way will release God’s power!
