New Psalmist Baptist Church is a place where connections are made; Connections to God, Connections to each other and Connections to the world. We are excited that God has given us the vision and opportunity to build a Connection Center, right here on the Holy City of Zion campus. This center will be the hub for connection. It will give us the ability to do ministry in an even greater way. This multi-purpose center will be used for ministry and fellowship. Creative ministry opportunity awaits us in this center. We also will be building two playgrounds to further our goal of connection. Our prayer is that this edifice will be ready next year!

What is the purpose of this building?

This will be our Connection Center, where connections are made to God, each other, and the world. It will be a multi-use facility and will enable us to do more small group sessions.

What is all included in this phase of construction?

We will be building the Connection Center and two playgrounds.

7500 SQ FT

Will there be parking?

Yes, the building will be next to our existing parking lots.

Where exactly on property will the connection center be located?

It will be located on the grassy area in Lot C.

What is the timeline for the project?

We hope to be finished the building next year.

What type of ministry/programming will be done in the building?

The opportunities are endless. We will be able to create different environments/scenes for various ministry and fellowship activities.

Will there be a gym or basketball courts inside the building?

No. Persons wanting to work out can use the gym in our current building. All of the spaces will be designed for usage by children and youth.

Will the building and playgrounds be handicapped accessible?

Yes.
